We are very pleased that Chef Jon Bentham renewed his contract for another 2 years as the culinary ratings have been excellent ever since he joined the property 3 years ago. We have started this year to keep 2 restaurants open for dinner on 6 days a week. This has become so very popular with our guests that we now decided to also keep 2 restaurants open for breakfast. We shall continue to serve our Caribbean "Tropical World Cuisine" in the Piton Restaurant. The menu is a daily changing 4 course menu where we make the most out of the available fresh local produce, and where a lot of the vegetables and herbs come from our own organic gardens. Our guests will now be able to enjoy an Indian them menu titled APSARA in our Trou au Diable beach restaurant on 6 evenings a week. This has been an exciting project and we all have learnt a lot about the historical and cultural connection between St.Lucia and India since the late 19th century. Our Indian chef Hemant Dadlani has joined us from Bombay and the Tandoori ovens are now being installed! The menu is an exciting and innovative fusion of modern East Indian and Caribbean cooking, so do not expect your traditional Indian culinary experience! REFURBISHMENTS AND RENOVATIONS Anse Chastanet has completed a refurbishment program of 12 rooms including superior and some of the original hill deluxe rooms. The refurbishment program included complete retiling of floors and bathrooms, exchanging of doors and louver windows, new beds and in some instances new furniture and art works.

The ANSE CHASTANET Helipad is completed and has been approved by the authorities ! The helipad is located in the hills behing ANSE CHASTANET where this service can be provided without any disturbance to our guests. Please request all helicopter transfers directly with us. The rates are US 135 per person from and to UVF and US 150 per person from and to SLU.

DAILY DELTA SERVICE FROM ATLANTA
We are pleased to know that Delta will add extra flights as of December 1, making the non stop Atlanta- St. Lucia UVF connection a daily one. Delta 451 departs Atlanta at 9.56 a.m. arriving at UVF at 3.25 p.m. - Delta 1296 departs UVF at 4.25 p.m. and arrives in Atlanta at 8.10 p.m. - Also, the St.Lucia Tourist Board is in negotiations to re- establish a direct New York- St.Lucia flight!
