Fitness at Anse Chastanet
Our resident fitness instructor Ty Ferrell offers a fitness oriented program daily, Mon – Sat. The fitness program includes a jump start beach circuit training, fitness interval trail run and a fitness fusion class combining elements of aerobics with core strength training using light weights and stability balls to optimize results. One on one fitness training or couple/buddy training sessions can be arranged and are available at a charge. Ty Ferrell is a fitness and nutrition professional available exclusively at Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain in St. Lucia. For over ten years Ty has been dedicated in providing elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts with the high quality training, customized help and extensive knowledge to ensure optimal fitness results. Ty started his fitness endeavors on Temple University's crew team. Later during his tour in the US Navy he assisted training intramural boxing team. Through his career he has assessed, trained and conditioned over 750 men and women from all walks of life. He has been certified and licensed with National Academy of Sports Medicine, National Federation of Personal Trainers, Charles Poliquin Strength Coach Certification, Precision Nutrition, Apex Nutrition, and International Health Racquetball and Sportsclub Association. In addition he puts in countless hours with research and applied experience to give his clients and athletes the best possible training and conditioning available. |
